#620 “Hashirama Senju” – Review
Opening Comments
This week in Naruto a lot of things happened, yet the things that we expected to happen weren’t really there. I was expecting fireworks for the most part, but it felt like we ended up having average sparklers. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the chapter as I felt it explained a bit but it was supposed to be focused on Hashirama, and it didn’t feel that way at all.

It is true that by reading this chapter you can tell that it is for Sasuke trying to come to a decision about his future. He wants to take revenge on the Leaf for what they have done to Itachi, but then he also wants to know if it was the right thing to do, and if Itachi would want that. It seems like we are still confused to what Sasuke’s true intentions are, and if they will effect the future of the world.
Halfway through the conversation, Orochimaru demands them to hurry up as there is a war raging on against Madara Uchiha. Minato looks shocked by this because he can sense Naruto and the Kyuubi fighting together on the front lines. The Third demands to be able to go out the the battlefield so that they may all help defeat Madara, Orochimaru replied saying, depending on your answers here will depend on whether you can go to the front line. Almost instantly after Tobirama decided that they should head to battle and attempt to break the Jutsu, Hashirama had already broken it. Hashirama states that before he heads to the battlefield, he will free Sasuke of all the ill thoughts.
Finally the last part of the chapter is where Hashirama feels like he must tell Sasuke what he wants to know to prevent another Madara rising. He decides to begin from the very top, the Senju and the Uchiha. How will this all turn out, I am certain it will be a few more chapters until Sasukes big decision.
The historic battle between Senju and Uchiha all began with Hashirama and Madara.
Closing Comments
This week wasn’t the best chapter at all, it was mildly average. I felt like that they could put so much more into this, and I do not understand why they didn’t. There were a few up parts, like where Hashirama stopped the Jutsu that was binding him.
What will happen next week? Hopefully it will be something brilliant. It has been a while since we have returned to the battlefield, maybe it will be a chapter there for once, who knows?
